The number 108 is sacred in Hinduism, Buddhism, and yoga, symbolizing wholeness, perfection, and the end of a full cycle. In yoga, the repetition of 108 Sun Salutations—known as a Yoga Mala—is traditionally practiced on the Summer Solstice. This transformative and physically demanding practice will be structured as a group ceremony dedicated to creating, setting, and releasing intentions.
- The practice itself will take no more than 2.5 hours, including the 108 Sun Salutations (divided into three sections with short breaks), self-inquiry (Svadyaya), and a 10-minute Savasana.
